- B. Construction: Totally enclosed molded fiberglass
- reinforced plastic instrument panels.
- 1. One-piece molded construction. No metal strips
- required to form mechanical joints.
- 2. Smooth gloss, gel-coated outside surfaces; no exposed
- glass fibers.
- 3. 1/2 inch radius rounded corners; cutout edges sanded
- and smooth.
- 4. Recessed, lift-off access doors with Southco Type 44
- latches.
- 5. Nominal wall thickness, instrument mounting surface:
- 1/4 inch.
- 6. Nominal wall thickness, elsewhere: 1/8 inch.
- 7. Access doors: Front and rear.
- 8. Open bottom construction; 2-1/2 inch mounting flange

- PART 3 EXECUTION

- 3.1 EXAMINATION
-
- A. Verify that dimensions are correct and project conditions
- are suitable for installation. Do not proceed with
- installation until unsatisfactory conditions have been
- corrected.

- 3.2 INSTALLATION
-
- A. Install products in accordance with manufacturer's
- instructions.
-
- B. Ensure that products are installed plumb and true, free
- of warp or twist, within tolerances specified by the
- manufacturer and as indicated in the contract documents.
- NOTE ** A 2 inch raised concrete pad is recommended for
- housekeeping, and will bring front edge of consoles
- to a 36 inch height above finished floor.

- C. Anchor consoles to floor with expansion anchors.

- 3.3 ADJUST AND CLEAN
-
- A. Clean surfaces in accordance with manufacturer's
- instructions.

- B. Remove trash and debris, and leave the site in a clean
- condition.
